In this episode of **Is It a Fair Trade?** in Pokémon GO, my latest Forever Friend sends me a remote trade request for my shiny Druddigon! This shiny Pokémon looks absolutely sick, so it is time to see what they have to offer and decide whether we can make a fair trade. With remote trading between Forever Friends, there are plenty of interesting Pokémon to choose from, but will I find something worth trading away my shiny Druddigon for?
First, I check out their selection of unregistered Pokémon to see if there is anything exciting that I do not already have registered in my Pokédex. Nothing immediately catches my eye, but Tangela is looking pretty cool! Then it is time to check out their shiny Pokémon collection and see if there is something that makes this trade worthwhile.
I spot a Charmander and start thinking about the possibilities. I still do not have a perfect 100% IV Charmander, so could this be my chance to finally get one? I also consider a shiny Kangaskhan, which would be a great opportunity to trade away one of my own shiny Kangaskhan Pokémon. After weighing up the options, I decide to go with the Charmander!
The trade is agreed, the Pokémon are exchanged, and now comes the moment of truth. What are the IVs on this Charmander? Could this finally be the hundo I have been looking for, or is Pokémon GO about to disappoint me once again? Let’s just say the IV reveal does not go exactly how I hoped, and sometimes it really feels like this game is rigged!
Even though the IVs are not what I wanted, I decide to evolve my Charmander into Charmeleon because I absolutely love the colours of its shiny evolution line. Now I want to know what you think about this trade. Was trading away my shiny Druddigon for a Charmander a fair deal, or should I have chosen the shiny Kangaskhan instead?
