Shadow Tornadus is a Legendary Flying-type Pokémon that is obtained by defeating the Team GO Rocket boss, Giovanni, during a Team GO Rocket Takeover event. As with other Shadow Pokémon, it has higher attack power but lower defense compared to its normal version
Recent availability: Shadow Incarnate Forme Tornadus was featured as a Giovanni reward during the Psychic Spectacular: Taken Over event, which occurred from September 16 to September 21, 2025.
Shiny availability: As of that event, the shiny version of Shadow Incarnate Forme Tornadus is not available.
Frustration removal: During the event, it was possible to use a Charged TM to remove the Charged Attack Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
Moveset and weaknesses
Best moveset: For battle, Shadow Incarnate Tornadus’s best moveset is Air Slash as the fast attack and Grass Knot as the charged attack.
Weaknesses: As a pure Flying-type Pokémon, Shadow Tornadus is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type attacks.
