In today’s video we are shout casting 10 battles in the Ultra League Remix featuring a Fighter, Double Ghost strategy. These battles were submitted to the channel by ‘MrLunkerChaser’ taking place between in the 2300 ELO range.

The Toxicroak being used in this video is a shundo level 40 maxing out at 2488, so it is actually not XL. Toxicroak provides solid coverage as a lead for the two Ghost types in the back, being able to counter down the Dark types that can be lured out by the Ghost type safe-switch.

XL Jellicent is the only Pokemon above level 40 in this video. It may be inaccessible to a lot of players but for those above level 40 it will be spawning more frequently during the Fashion Week event. Jellicent is a really strong option with access to quick generating fast moves like Hex and Bubble and also has a nice mix of charge moves with Bubble, Ice Beam and Shadow Ball.

Giratina Origin is a non-XL Legendary Pokemon that doesn’t reach a high level put still puts in a lot of work. Due to the nature of frequently being walled by a Pokemon such as Snorlax, this trainer is running the Shadow Ball, Ominous Wind move set. This will prevent Giratina Origin from being completely walled against Normal types, but also gives up the “bait” option as well as the chance to boost with Ominous Wind.

Overall, this is fun team operating in a classic ABB style. It has some nice balance overall and can handle a large portion of the meta. Some of the biggest threats to this team would include Mandibuzz which there isn’t a hard answer for, but can still be defeated through a team effort.

In this video we use a team consisting of: Toxicroak (Counter, Mud Bomb, Sludge Bomb), Jellicent (Hex, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball) & Giratina Origin (Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball, Dragon Pulse).

* denotes Legacy move (may require Elite TM).
